Kingsway Park Golf and Country Club

It started out as a nice sunny day after several rainy ones. We soon realized that there had been just too much rain to be absorbed by the ground, the course was swamped. After hole #7 we decided that we would stop after 9, and try to get a swamped check. Lo and behold, the skies strated to cloud up and before we got to finish #9, it started raining. So we ended getting a rain check. We will be going back but will make sure to wait for a stretch of sunny days to make sure the course is dry.

NIce but not well maintained ! The rough is long and sadly swallowing balls! Overall, cheap and 6/10 ok!

Kingsway is a country course with pretty views of the Gatineau hills.

Great course in great shape little bit wet but went after it rained

Nice simple track. Good course conditions with nice greens. Pace of play was slow with a twosome.

The course is nicely laid out with some difficult holes. They don't have a marshal and we got caught behind a slow group after 9. The pace slowed us down and made a 4 hour round closer to 4 1/2 hours

Greens in super great condition.

Course was in very good shape, got a great deal with GolfNow, $32 with cart, only negative was that there was no beverage cart yesterday on a very hot day!

Les prix de GolfNow sont très bons et je qualifierais le design de ce parcours comme moyen plus. Le terrain est en général bien entretenu et les verts sont beaux. Les allés sont larges et sont intéressants pour un joueur moyen.
Donc pas de mauvaises surprises.

Really like this course, excellent value and very scenic as the course lays beneath a mountain view.

Most ridiculous thing happened to us on a golf course. On the third hole, after our second shots landed just off the green, 2 grounds staff decided to interrupt our game and start working on the green. We had to pick up our balls and go to the next hole. There was no golfers to be found ahead or behind us. I was shocked.

Really enjoyed our round here at Kingsway. Very close to my son's house and the course layout is very forgiving. The price was right and the staff were all very friendly. Not a lot of water hazards and there were enough sand traps...I landed in several of them. Can not wait to return for another round.

When every other course in the region has greens in good shape, these were slow and bumpy, without exception. Golf-Now should lower prices there until their greens get better.

Conditions OK and were what you would expect for spring. The overall experience was very super. Some interesting holes and layout. Great day = Great fun. Bring a camera if you play in the fall.

Probably best bang-for-buck in greater Ottawa area.
Mid-range quality at low end prices equals good value.
Wide, forgiving fairways and limited water hazards.
Gorgeous view of Gatineau Hills, particularly in Fall.
Course could use Marshalls and beverage cart, though.
All in all, a good deal for beginners to intermediate players.
