All the greens on the back nine were under fall maintenance
We were not told of this at check in
So we ended up putting of a make shift fairway hole
Tough to put on fairway grass
The start times were too tight together so what should have been a 3 1/4 hour ended up being 4 hour game

Played Kingsway yesterday. The course was a “bit” wet due to overnite rain, however the course played well, but with not much roll out on my drives. The fairways and greens are in very good shape, however some of the tee-boxes are a bit “rough”... Overall the course is excellent and the scenery is beautiful with the changing fall colours in the surrounding Gatineau hills....

The course is situated next to Gatineau park on a plateau. I was expecting varied terrain but it is quite flat. A good walking course with her wide fairways. Despite the wide fairways there are challenging approaches with well placed hazards.

We got stick playing behind a tournament. We waited at each hole making for very slow pace of play. No Marshall on the course. 5.5 hrs is too long to play 18 holes.

This year is the best I have ever seen the Kingsway GC, the greens were great and the fairways were in great shape. Might have to do with all the rain we had this summer. All in all I was very impressed. Good job.

I played this course in past years, but not in the past three years, and have enjoyed the layout and the high quality of the course maintenance every time I've played there. The course is in very good shape and the greens are in "super" shape and "fast". The only negative point I have about my round, and the course personnel could do nothing about it, is that the fairways were soaked with water - it had rained heavily the night before and there was water "everywhere" - I had to move my ball on numerous occasions due to the excessive water puddles. I am looking forward to my next round at Kingsway and hopefully the course will be in a more playable condition. I'm not complaining about the playing conditions as it was strictly a case of "Mother Nature"....

Overall, even though the course was extremely wet, I thoroughly enjoyed the game, and the lady at the pro-shop was very helpful and accommodating....

Course is in excellent shape! Fairways cut short, greens moderate in speed! Enjoyable round!!

Potentially a nice course, but completely exhausted from the endless waiting for players in front and pressure from impatient players behind. We gave up at the 13th, fed up with the whole process.

there should be a marshall on the course.
people in front of us ( 2 ) where very slow and did not ask for us to go ahead. the people inthe back of us came to us and asked why it was so slow. You could see the Hole in front of them was clear, but they never played faster. I play this course often and was not happy with that round of golf. I hope this will help. This is not a complaint but I hope my comments will help the course to improve .

We played this open parklands course for the first time. The fairways are generous for the most part, although hazards are placed well to make most shots require a decision on the risk versus reward. The setting adjacent to Gatineau Park is peaceful. The afternoon was busy and a group ahead were holding up play such that there were often two on the fairway and two groups waiting at the tee box. With all groups in carts pace of play otherwise would have been good. Staff were helpful and gave rain checks when a downpour hit. Service was provided fluently in French and English. Enjoyable outing. Greens had just been cored so should be smoother in the coming weeks.

This course compared to the first time i played it, has change 10 fold.
