Gatineau Golf Club

It has a good mix of par 3's and par 5's. The greens are in excellent shape and are very fast. The fairways are average. There are a moderate number of sand and water hazards. Yardage markers are restricted to 150 yards only. It would be better if the course added 100 & 200 yard markers.

We love everything about this course. Always a great day of golf, the grounds are well groomed. Very fast greens.

Course is not properly marked with white, red or yellow markers where applicable.

Tee off areas were very nice. The well groomed fairways were cut just right to facilitate club selection. Greens were extremely fast and provided one of the main challenges.The expansive fairways provided room to manoeuvre. Scattered mounds and hills added to the charm of the course.

Weather was very good, partly sunny, not too hot with a nice breeze. Few, if any, bugs. Course was in great shape. Greens with good speed but also the ability to hold shots. We got out just before the afternoon discount rate kicked in so we had the course pretty much to ourselves. No one pushing us from behind and no waits at any holes.
It was a fair but challenging test.

This is a well maintained course with friendly staff. The fairways and greens are kept in good conditions. Definitely will go back to play this course.

course has been nicely re-designed by Graham Cooke; although it is getting late in the season they need an on course marshall to keep groups moving along

It was a beautiful day and I enjoyed the course. It had a couple of tricked up holes and long walks between many holes. The par threes were very ordinary. Some of the fairways were not in great condition and there was one temporary green.

Round was very slow (5.5 hrs) and staff were less than friendly but the course is a great layout and lots of fun.

So much improvement over the past year. Best clubhouse in the region. Brush and tree areas could be cleaned out

I play this course 3 times a week and always enjoy my games. Its fairly easy to play walking. The large greens are challenging and well maintained even if some were badly damage at the beginning of the year.

Premiere partie au Gatineau depuis sont réaménagement, j'ai trouvé le terrain beau, quelques ameliorations a faire mais sera tres beau dans 3-4 ans, tres bonne deal avec Golfnow sinon trop cher pour le prix.

Very nice course, walkable however better to cart on hot/humid days! Clubhouse superb and very nice warming-up space. Will be very nice once they have paved the cart path. Value for money on golfnow is great, wish there would be more times available with hot deal!

This is Graham Cooke designed course is fun to play. Green were quick and challenging. Some of the greens need attention. The course is very walkable. I was dissappointed to find out that they had converted one of the par fours into a par three. The fairways need a lot of attention as they are spotty and some even have bare patches. There are two areas that could use some netting to avoid possible stray balls hitting the parking lot. I would play this course again but only if the price drops or the conditions improve.

This course has great potential as it is a nice layout but needs some tlc. The fairways were not lush and the greens were a little rough. Clubhouse was very nice but no snack bar just the restaurant so a hot dog at the turn took forever. Just an ok value but I think there would have been better choices in the area for the same cost.

The rough and the fairways need a lot of maintaining and fixing to do but overall the course is ok except for these two things. The greens were great and the course numbers were wonderful and very presentable .

I will play again on this course for the price i paid

Challenging course with narrow fairway and protected greens. All but 2 greens were in pristine condition. Fairways are spongy.

Exellent course. Well thought out, it can play challenging enough for the lower handicap, and fair enough for the higher handicap. Conditions are great for a newly renowned course. I really enjoyed the drive up to the club house, as well as the beautiful club house it self. Staff were polite and helpful for directions to tee and restrooms. If there is anything bad to be said about Gatineau is pace of play was very poor for a weekday afternoon. 5 hrs is bad enough, on a weekend but very difficult to take during the week.
